• The gallery underwent a 85,000-sq. ft. (7,900 m²) expansion in order to provide additional floor space for exhibitions and the facility’s Education Centre, as well as add a restaurant, gallery shop and a 150-seat theatre.

Awards

• The Art Gallery, took first place in the Sports/Public Assembly category of the 2008 Tekla North American Model Competition.
