Located in Doha's Education City, the Qatar Convention Centre, with a total built-up area of approximately 142,000 sqm will provide world class convention facilities to meet the most sophisticated demands of conference organizers from throughout the globe. The Convention Centre of Qatar will be the largest in the Middle East.

The striking building will cater for up to 7,000 delegates in its four main hall, providing a 2,500-seat auditorium, a 500 seat-theatre, a 4,000-seat multi-purpose hall for conferences which can alternatively provide seating for 2,500 in a banquet setting and an exhibition hall and facilities for major functions.

The Design & Build construction of "Qatar Foundation Education City-Convention Centre in Doha commenced with the award to the Turkish contractor Baytur with an approximate contract value of US$615m.

InteliBuild are providing full 3D CAD design validation servics to Baytur and Ekin Proje to ensure the co-ordination of all of the complex building services with the structural steel frame and intricate architectural finishes. The 3D MEP models will be co-ordinated using AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks and will be fully utilised for the production of all of the building services shop drawings.
